The Pack Transaction on Our WMS Browser Application
1To print a label, the Pack Transaction does not necessarily need to be enabled, but it functions as a great checkpoint to ensure the correct items are being shipped. You can choose to pack an entire order all at once or to pack smaller portions at one time.
2Your designated employee can select a Packing List and see all the items that would need to be packed for fulfillment. This list is useful as this is where the user can take the opportunity to cross-check that the right items are being shipped. Here, they can also add notes if there is an issue or circumstance.
Pack Transaction Settings on WMS Browser Application
Our WMS mobile application is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, providing you and your employees with a convenient way to conduct transactions from anywhere in your warehouse. To conduct the WMS Packing Transaction on the Mobile App, there are two options you can pick from the WMS browser application settings:
- Visual List – Users will see a list of items to visually confirm they are packing the correct items.
- Barcode Scan – Users will be able to scan the items again to confirm they have everything right.
The Pack Transaction on the Mobile Application
Once you’ve picked that, you can start conducting the Pack Transaction on the Mobile Application. Certain fields are designed to loop once you start processing items, increasing the efficiency of the operation as you will not need to repeatedly fill in the same information.
Ship Transaction Settings on WMS Browser Application
1From the web browser application, designated users can enable Ship Transaction and choose how the feature functions from the settings section. Working in tandem with Pack Transaction, users can choose to send out an entire order or only a portion of the order. Also, for an extra layer of accountability and verification, you can enable the Signature Required option so every Ship Transaction must be accompanied by a signature.
Ship Your Warehouse Inventory with Our WMS
Here comes the best part about using our WMS to pack and ship your warehouse orders. Our software is integrated with various carriers, which means you or your designated employee can link to your business’ courier account information. This creates pricing options and generate labels for you in the system itself.
First, users select the carrier. After entering the shipment information, our system automatically populates pricing and other options, and depending on your preferred carrier, this might differ. Finally, our software auto-populates the rest of the information needed based on location and customer information in the system. This can be done manually as well.
