Setting Up Your Warehouse Management System’s Min/Max Inventory Levels
Our Industry-Leading Barcode Warehouse Inventory System comes equipped with the Warehouse Set Min/Max feature which lets you set a minimum and maximum inventory level for each Inventory item. You can use our software to optimize and implement a far more efficient warehouse management process. Within our Warehouse Inventory System, the min and max levels for each Inventory item can be set to a specific location within your warehouse or even to an entire Warehouse as well. If any of your inventory hits your set min/max level our system will email you an alert.
Why Incorporate Min/Max Levels in Your Warehouse?
1At first glance, one might think that it will be easy to manually keep an eye on inventory levels. However, the actual process is complicated and depends on the trends that occur in your warehouse inventory, which might be hard to analyze with manually recorded data. The Set Min/Max feature is a cog in the well-oiled machine of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) that will make sure you never understock or overstock your warehouse.
The Benefits of Automating Min/Max Levels Alerts in WMS
Improves your return on investment
With alerts set to be sent out at specified inventory levels, you reduce the losses from turnover and reduce stock-outs or overstocking.
Increase in inventory data to better understand trends
As you continue using the system, adjustments made to the min/max levels over time make the software function more accurate for your warehouse.
Decrease in
human error
Now that you’ve moved past the time-consuming paper trails and excel sheets, your employees will have less room for error and an easier data input experience.
