Types of Alerts For Better Stock Management
In our inventory management software, there are 3 different ways that you can communicate low stock levels to the system users; System Alerts, SMS, and Email Alerts. These can also be used to let users know when they need to resupply their storage space. With strategic use of our alerts, users can ensure their inventory management process has maximum efficiency.
System Alerts
When using our inventory management system, users can check the Alert Icon on the top right of the screen. From there, users can navigate to the “Stock” dashboard to see all alerts. This gives you a bird's-eye-view of all of active alerts. You can also sort them according to site.
SMS Alerts
This feature makes receiving updates about your inventory as simple as sending a text. Set up text message alerts to go directly to the phone number for your cell phone. These can provide updates for when items fall below the stock threshold or expire.
Email Alerts
Users can also set up email notifications for any members of an organization. Use these to stay informed on changes or updates to inventory item information using only an email address.
Inventory System Mobile App Alerts
Accessing and programming alerts can be reached through any mobile device. This lets you receive updates in real-time, even when you’re on the move. This keeps you informed and prepared for any change or demand to your stock.
