Our Inventory Mobile App helps users stay connected to their Inventory System
“Hello and Thank you for your interest in our industry-leading Barcode Inventory System. We are a Full Barcode Tracking System provider. In this video, we will introduce our latest enhancement, the Inventory “Issue / Move by Selected Location” Feature, on the Mobile App.
Our Inventory Mobile App gives users a new option to select an Inventory ID number and choose a specific location to pull from the available quantity located in that one location.
Historically, however, our users had one option to pull Inventory from multiple locations for any part number. Now, system administrators can pre-set the method the users will follow and have the location automatically filled to perform Inventory Issue and Inventory Move transactions from their mobile barcode scanners, smartphones, and tablets.
This enhancement is designed to help users significantly cut down on the time it takes to conduct moving or consuming Inventory when using these transactions.
When navigating this Inventory App, users can conduct a search of their available Inventory, select the desired Inventory item and location and finally if:
- The “Issue / Move by Selected Location” is turned on, then only the available Inventory quantity in that location will get consumed or moved.
- The “Issue / Move by Selected Location” is off, the Inventory number will be automatically filled in, however users will have to select the locations to pull Inventory from separately.
