Simplified Inventory Kitting Process
Our Warehouse Inventory System helps streamline your fulfillment process and increase efficiency across all your stockrooms. Your users can effectively manage warehouse inventory with our Kitting feature, which provides the ability to combine multiple items.
P: This process, also known as product kitting or product assembly, is where items that are frequently assembled are grouped as an individual pack or single kit. These packs and kits are easy to track as you get to pick specific inventory items and combine them into a single SKU or group.
Declutter the Assembly and Bundling Process
We designed the inventory assembly process to be straightforward in our user-friendly and intuitive Warehouse Inventory System. You users can easily select inventory items and combine them into one overall group. This can be achieved with the “Bill of Materials” in our systems, which is what we call the recipe for a single product, with the ingredients being inventory items.
Using the Inventory Kitting Feature
Defining the kit
This step involves you and your employees preparing the Bill of Materials, the recipe for the kit.
Defining a substitute
You can designate replacements for items in the kit if your available on-hand inventory isn’t enough.
Creating the kit
This is where you specify the quantities of warehouse inventory needed for your assembly.
Processing the request
Now while assembling, you can scan inventory in your warehouse or stockrooms according to what your kit needs, making your assembly line more productive.
The Inventory Assembly Settings
1In our system configurations, you can customize settings for the assembly feature to best suit your warehouse’s needs. You or your System Administrator can choose to Enable or Disable the ability to create inventory kits.
2Besides that, you can also provide the option to make substitutions for unavailable items. That lets you select replacements in case kit items aren’t available.
Warehouse Inventory Kits Reports
1 Our Warehouse Inventory System lets you generate Assembly Reports so you can maximize data visibility. This helps you keep an eye on your inventory levels and consumption trends. The reports are fully configurable and can be automated. You or your system administrator can set up a delivery schedule to stay informed on your kits and assembly processes.
