In this video, we will discuss how ASAP Systems stepped up for the Healthcare Inventory Management industry by delivering an Export function to Health Level-7 commonly known as HL7 to further streamline Healthcare personnel daily processes”.
This addition enhances the productivity of Healthcare workers by providing them with the ability to quickly export history into standard XML files.
Using our System, Healthcare professionals can export Historical Inventory Data to XML by following these simple steps:
- Search the Historical Data
- Select the desired data collection fields
- Click on Export to HL7 button
Note that the Item Name, Code, Description, the Location Code, and Inventory History Type are mandatory fields that will be processed even if not selected.
Accordingly the selected Healthcare Inventory Data will be exported as an XML file to a third party API, Mirth Connect, which in turn converts it to HL7 and sends it back to the User.
