Delaware State Police (DSP)

The mission of the Delaware State Police (DSP) is to enhance the quality of life for all Delaware citizens and visitors by providing professional, competent, and compassionate law enforcement services.  In order to keep the Delaware community safe, DSP needed an inventory system to help manage the influx of inventory stock items to and from their Supply Warehouse.

Challenge

Before working with ASAP Systems, the IT department at DSP was using time-consuming and tedious spreadsheets as well as constantly maintaining the very outdated inventory system. Needless to say, Delaware State Police was very eager to find a new way to track their inventory stock such as uniforms, boots, and other police equipment that come in and out of the Supply Warehouse and eventually are distributed across the state to various departments.  In addition to tracking, the leadership staff at DSP was looking for a way to get reports on how much of our inventory was used and where it’s used the most.

Implementation

After an online search, DSP came across ASAP Systems and was interested in demoing our cloud-based software.  After attending a 1on1 system demonstration, the DSP IT department knew that our system was perfect for what they needed.  After implementing our cloud-based software, DSP took advantage of our 1on1 trainings to set up their system exactly as they needed.
